Rudy Gobert helped Minnesota persevere with 25 points and overcome a 34-point night from Anfernee Simons. Gobert also added 16 rebounds for his 43rd double-double of the season. The win gave the Timberwolves a four-game sweep of their division rivals.

Indiana is coming off a huge win on the road against the Dallas Mavericks in a 137-120 rout. Myles Turner led Indiana with 20 and Tyrese Haliburton had 19 points and 11 assists. It was simply a more balanced team effort performance for Indiana. Luka Doncic once again had a great game with 39 but he didn't get enough support. It was the fourth game in a row with Doncic scoring 30 points or more. This game should be much closer in Indianapolis.
